MiCare is looking for a Turkish speaking male volunteer that loves to be with people to provide social support and positive interactions on a regular basis. Share your smile, culture and companionship with this elderly man in Meadow Heights who loves to read, play snooker & dominos Your regular visits can make a real and positive difference in the life of this resident - reducing social isolation and improving well-being.

Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.

This program is part of the Community Visitors Scheme and the Commonwealth Home Support Program– an Australian Government Initiative
