Share your language (Maltese or English), Culture (Maltese) and companionship during fortnightly visits to a lady living in an Aged Care Facility in New Farm. A female volunteer is requested for this role. This lady loves to chat, go for small walks, watch historical or romantic movies and loves to play Yahtzee, Jeopardy or similar chance games.

Your regular visits can make a real and positive difference in the life of this resident - reducing social isolation and improving well-being.

We ask that our volunteers commit to fortnightly visits for at least 6 months.

Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.

This program is part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme and the Commonwealth Home Support Program– Australian Government Initiatives.
