Vision Australia provides national services to support people who are blind or have low vision, to live the lives they choose. We are seeking a volunteer to help conduct research to support the fundraising team.
This role will be to conduct research through both internal and external sources, record information in templates, access and update internal database, assist with occasional events and support the team as needed. This position is flexible to work remotely or at one of our centres. Training will be provided. Fundraising asks would not be expected.
The role would suit someone who wants to make an impact to help people who are blind or have low vision, and with the following skills:
• Internet skills • Computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Outlook & Excel • Ability to use Zoom/Teams • A natural curiosity about research • A good telephone manner - confidence communicating both on the phone and when needed at events.
