Revive our Wetlands: Volunteering Opportunities

Conservation Volunteers Australia
Logo for Conservation Volunteers Australia

We would love to have volunteers join us for our various wetland restoration events. At Conservation Volunteers Australia we work with various partnerships such as Parks Victoria, council, universities, TAFE and private landholders to deliver routine volunteer opportunities. Our volunteering days are a great way to get outdoors, explore and learn about your local ecosystem, and meet other like-minded members of the community.

Our focus site, Lake Connewarre, is a significant wetland located near Barwon Heads. The lake and adjoining wetlands are home to several endangered ecological communities and habitats for a vast array of species. Join us to protect and restore our wetlands, enabling these special environments to do the vital work they do - ensuring we all have clean air, fresh water, and safe futures.

Check our website for all current volunteering days and use the search feature to select Victoria as your area. Volunteering days get updated routinely and can include anything from weeding, to planting trees, guided walks, educational sessions, flora & fauna surveys, and workshop activities. Thank you for you help and we hope to see you at one of our volunteering opportunities soon.
