Administration Legends! Office-Based Mon-Fri
Friends for Good Inc.Friends for Good is a national not-for-profit organisation which focuses on loneliness and social isolation. We raise awareness of loneliness as a significant issue in the community and address gaps in services to foster a greater sense of connection and wellbeing for individuals and communities.
As our organisation expands and we are embarking on some new services and projects we are looking for a team of administration volunteers to help us in our Carlton office. The role would be divided between around 10 volunteers with each contributing half a day (Monday- Friday, business hours). We offer a great team environment in a supportive and inclusive setting.
Tasks vary but would include:
- Answering incoming calls
- Responding to queries and appointment bookings/ changes for our Counselling service
- Assisting with volunteer recruitment tasks such as sending emails and completing referee checks
- Helping with special event planning and marketing
What we are looking for:
- Basic IT proficiency (knowledge of Microsoft Suite preferred)
- Confidence to make and receive phone calls
- Commitment to the vision and mission of Friends for Good
- Reliability and a positive attitude
- Availability for one shift per week (either 9am- 1pm or 1pm- 5pm Monday to Friday)
