The Concierge role has been designed to ensure that community members have a positive experience when visiting Milligan. We know that for many people, entering a new service can be a daunting even petrifying experience. We aim to ensure that every person we meet has a positive interaction and leaves feeling confident to revisit or engage with other services. The role requires excellent communication skills and deep compassion. An understanding of existing community resources is a bonus but not essential. On entry to the service the concierge will warmly greet the community member and guide them to the service they are seeking. The role will include both formal and informal linkages to community resources as well as conversations, cuppa's and tours of the facility. The position may also include gardening tasks like harvesting small batch produce - to be discussed with individual volunteers
