MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

Would you like to visit an older person and make a real difference in their life? Have you got some time and conversation to share to reduce loneliness?

We are seeking a creative and artistic volunteer visitor for a creative and artistic woman who lives in her own home. She would enjoy making a new friend for company and conversation and perhaps to enjoy an art activity together.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.

Virtual visits (phone calls, letters, emails, postcards ) are vital and help continue connections during periods of visiting restrictions.
