Since his wife’s passing, customer John has found that his motivation and enthusiasm for spending time in garden has decreased. John spent his working life as a horticulturalist and volunteering at his local community garden. John would love to be connected with a fellow green thumb to provide company and reignite his passion. Visits may include spending time in the garden together, pruning and planting for the season ahead as well as picking and preserving the seasons harvest over lively conversation.

We offer opportunities in skill and knowledge development, as well as ongoing support and mentoring. Good communications skills and the ability to work independently are a must. Having a driver’s licence/access to own vehicle is highly desired but not essential. We value diversity in lived experience, language, skills and abilities.
