Avalon is a unique Centre that aims to meet unmet needs. This encompasses a range of different activities ranging from helping bushfire or flood victims to assisting the homeless. We receive donated clothing, bedding, shoes and other items that we distribute weekly to the homeless, disadvantaged and Asylum Seekers. We own a number of flats in the Dandenong area and there are always small repairs and/or deliveries needing to be done to help out our tenants. So, if you are handy with a drill, or can put up a blind, or replace a tap washer, you could be our person!
