The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of The Victorian Goalball Association (VGA).

The Victorian Goalball Association (VGA) are seeking referees to officiate games during local goalball competitions. These games occur on Saturday afternoons 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm in Junior School Gym at Scotch College (Hawthorn).

Requirements of the position include:

• Attending Saturday Goalball sessions between 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
• Ability to learn and follow rules / instructions ()IBSA handbook
• Ability to problem solve / make decisions
• Willingness to join the Victorian Goalball Association as a volunteer ()for insurance purposes)
• Hold or apply for a Victorian Working with Children's Check linked to the Victorian Goalball Association

All referees will receive training over a number of weeks. New referees will have the opportunity to shadow and be supported by experienced referees until they are confident to referee on their own.

Your work will contribute towards an association that values the contributions of volunteers. All volunteers receive recognition.
