Volunteers required for restoration work on historic railway carriages, as well as display building and maintenance, and some general building maintenance. Carpenter/cabinet maker/joiner skills are required for this role.

Must be proficient in the safe use of wood working tools and machines.

Must be comfortable working in teams and individually.

National Police Checks and Working With Children Checks are required and can be facilitated through the National Railway Museum at no cost.
