ERCWA has successfully provided English language classes to adults from refugee and migrant backgrounds for 22 years. Join a group of 18 current volunteers and assistants in a friendly and supportive environment.

Our 2-hour classes are held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings during school terms. Students are streamed into 5 levels depending on their English language and literacy skills. Teachers are able to sit in on classes at each level to decide where they would be most comfortable. A full range of resources are available and current teachers and ERCWA staff will provide support as required. Some of our volunteers teach 4 classes a week some teach one. All we ask is, to provide continuity for the students, volunteers commit to attending for a complete term (10 Weeks)
