What could be a better gift to our environment on this special day than to give it more native plants?

We think it's the perfect gift, which is why this World Environment Day we are inviting you to join a planting extravaganza at Sir Joseph Banks Park to see how many native seedlings we can get in the ground. Are you up for the challenge?

Everyone’s welcome – from families to businesses and schools. Come and get your hands dirty, and have fun while you’re at it!

Sir Joseph Banks Park is a 16 Ha Reserve in Botany Bay, providing some of the last examples of the endangered Eastern Suburbs Banksia Scrub; which provides important habitat for an abundance of native wildlife, including over 100 bird species. No experience necessary, our friendly team are there to answer your questions and guide you along the way.
