We have an opportunity for a faith-based volunteer to support the spiritual and emotional needs of the elderly residents living in our aged care facility in Albany.

As a pastoral care volunteer, you’ll be actively involved with a local church.

You will create connections during Bible readings with residents and assist in other faith supporting activities.

You’ll find that as a pastoral care volunteer you’ll nurture your own spiritual life.

Ideally, you'll be available for 1-2 hours each week (Monday to Friday) for 6 months or longer. We would be happy to discuss a suitable day and time.

You will be supported and guided by the on-site chaplain.

Successful applicants will be required to complete an online orientation and national police background check.

Provide proof of your current flu vaccination and COVID-19 vaccinations is a requirement to volunteer at this facility.
