What's the Role?

• Creating and maintaining relationships with local, regional, and national media outlets
• Pitching story ideas and event coverage to journalists, editors, and producers
• Collaborating with our team to develop press releases, media kits, and other promotional materials
• Identifying new media opportunities and strategizing innovative ways to promote our cause
• Monitoring and analysing media coverage to measure the success of our outreach efforts

What We're Looking For:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A deep understanding of various media channels, including print, broadcast, and digital
• Experience in media relations, journalism, or public relations
• A passion for our cause and a commitment to making a positive impact in our community
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a can-do attitude
