To assist us with our journey, we are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Reconciliation, Diversity, and Inclusion Volunteers.

Under the supervision and direction of the Manager of Reconciliation, Diversity, and Inclusion, volunteers will assist with developing and implementing reconciliation, diversity, and inclusion initiatives within Wesley Mission Queensland.

Depending on your level of skill, this may include:

  • Helping to organise and coordinate training sessions and workshops
  • Providing support with the creation and maintenance of policies and procedures
  • Assisting with the coordination of events and activities
  • Helping to collect and analyse data
  • Providing general administration support.

Requirements:

  • A passion for promoting reconciliation, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace
  • Sound organisational and administrative skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience utilising Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to participate in virtual meetings (Teams).

Volunteer hours are flexible or on-call and depend on your availability.   The role consists of face-to-face and virtual (online) tasks.
