Coalition for the Protection of Greyhounds

The Coalition for the Protection of Greyhounds is a dedicated group of volunteers across Australia committed to ending greyhound suffering. CPG exposes the cruelty and corruption of greyhound racing and lobbies state governments to close the industry down. CPG will fight until the day that no greyhound suffers death, injury or abuse at the hands of the greyhound racing industry.

We are all volunteers and we need help across various roles. If the following is of interest, we would love to hear from you.

Supported by our Social Media Manager and fellow social media team members, you’ll have the freedom to use your creativity and initiative to help us grow and leverage our TikTok presence in a collaborative environment.

This role is ideal for a social media/marketing student or recent graduate, or someone who meets the essential criteria below.

Please keep reading if:

you’re passionate about animal welfare, you love TikTok, and you’re able to commit to a minimum of 2-3 hours per week on an ongoing basis*.

  • we will prioritise applicants who can commit to at least six months due to the resources involved in onboarding new people.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience

  • Create TikTok videos from our research, news, blog, and Instagram posts.
  • Contribute to our TikTok engagement strategy (like and reply to comments, respond to DMs, engage with our followers and partners).

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience

  • Create TikTok short form videos.
  • Contribute to our TikTok strategy through ideas and knowledge.
  • Report on metrics to share significant data with the team and plan future content.
  • Be across the latest TikTok updates and trends.
