Ukulele player volunteer at Darlinghurst
HammondCare AustraliaWe are seeking a Ukulele playing Volunteer to attend Wednesday afternoons to accompany our Lolly Trolley service, you will join other Volunteers who are serving lollies to the Residents and Staff at Darlinghurst. The sound of the Ukulele will help to spread joy throughout the cottages.
This volunteer opportunity involves 1-3 hours of your time each week and we'd be happy to discuss a suitable day and time with you. As this is a long term opportunity, we're seeking people who live in the local area.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to residents.
