FOSTER CARERS NEEDED!

We are looking for reliable volunteers to foster a bird/parrot in their own home!

Essential Criteria:

-Suitable cage

-Willingness to undergo some training if required

-Able to provide an environment free from any toxic items

-Able to provide 1:1 time to assist with socialization and behavioral concerns

-Able to commit to fresh food, water and fruit and vegetable preparation -Good communication skills and the ability to provide care updates as required

-Ability to provide fresh native branches and foliage as required

-Ability to provide toys and appropriate enrichment

-Driver's License

-Police Check

Desirable Criteria:

-Experience handling birds and/or parrots

-Able to, or willing to learn to administer medication and bird/parrot first aid

-Confidence with bird/parrots with behavior concerns and/or biting.

-The ability to provide transport to the vet where required, and hand over a detailed report of the appointment findings
