As part of the federally funded Community Visiting Scheme; a compassionate, caring and friendly Russian speaking volunteer is needed to visit with an elderly Russian client in Redfern.

It is purely about social interaction and connection so as to provide some joy and pleasure to this person's life. A commitment of at least 1 hour a fortnight is needed on an ongoing basis an as is minimum of 2 x COVID. vaccinations.

The role is very flexible. Individuals who are willing to give a little bit of their time in conversation, who are reliable, have good Russian speaking skills and have a positive attitude for life are encouraged to apply.
