Multiple Sclerosis is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship. We have a very interesting and social gentleman in Paynesville who would benefit immensely from your friendship. He enjoys following the football , coffee/chats and movies You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing. Good English communication skills are required for this recipient, however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to same language are very welcome to enquire.
