We are seeking a mature, male volunteer visitor for a gentleman who enjoys movies, model boats and all things mechanical. He would appreciate meeting a new friend for conversation and going for a walk.

MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll, enjoy a cuppa and chat, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

If you are looking for a volunteer role that makes a positive difference to another person, brings mutual joy and is flexible - this is a role for you.

You need to be caring, reliable, sociable and be willing to commit to least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 6 to12 months. .
