As a Volunteer Ambassador you will greet and provide information, directions and support for all who visit the centre. You will be supporting reception and other teams to maintain a safe and welcoming entry to our services. Ideally you will bring your strong customer service skills and caring, friendly manner to the role. Local residents in the City of Yarra are strongly encouraged to apply. This role will appeal to you if you enjoy talking with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds, and if you like helping others. Your shift may include directing clients to their appointments, arranging support for visitors who need help with mobility, or registering with the centre, or with COVID safe practices in place. You will also be ready to seek support if clients are very unwell when they arrive. You will be working with another Volunteer Ambassador in a supportive and inclusive team. You will receive opportunities for professional and personal development. You will be supported and receive guidance to undertake your role with confidence.
