As Fireman, you would be in charge of keeping up steam to Wattle's 1933 compound steam engine as the ship engages in short trips to Williamstown and Hobsons Bay, usually on a Sunday. At other times, Wattle will be chartered for 2, 3 or 4 hour cruises - weddings, parties, ashes scatterings, corporate events, etc. And occasionally Wattle will do day-long trips to Portarlington or other accessible port in Port Phillip.
