MINDEROO FIRE AND FLOOD RESILIENCE INITIATIVE LIMITED
As a volunteer, working with supervisors you'll be helping communities build resilience with activities such as:
- Clearing fuel loads;
- Cutting back excess vegetation;
- Trimming tree branches;
- Weed control;
- Revegetation;
- Removing other flammable materials;
- Blocking ember entry points.
No experience necessary, no cost, and all welcome.
The Australian Resilience Corps is a national volunteer network established in November 2021 by the Minderoo Foundation and founding partner NRMA Insurance. Our aim to help communities prepare for natural hazards, like fires and floods, before they occur.
By bringing together businesses, volunteer partners and community members, we will be able to reduce the impact of fire and flood disasters right across Australia.
We are determined to shift behaviour by connecting help to where it is needed most and build a culture where resilience is second nature to Australians.
