Relay for Life Committee Chair, Border

Established in 2002, Border Relay For Life celebrates 21 years this year! A grand total of over $4.8 million has been raised over the life of the Border Relay For Life with over 32,500 participants attend our event over the life of the Border Relay For Life. Last year we held our first 12 hour Relay, we still achieved amazing results: Over $180,000 raised 27 teams; 500 registered participants!

We are looking for someone to lead the Border Committee to deliver on the 2023 Relay for Life. Your ability to work with diverse people, your organisational and planning skills, and connection to community will be a must for the role of Chair.

About the role 

This is an exciting volunteer role leading the Border Relay for Life Committee in 2023.

Working with Brianna, one of our talented Community Fundraising Coordinator’s, and an established committee, this role has the potential to have a great impact on the success of the campaign.

About You 

Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation, along with: 

  • Experience in leading a team and working with a diverse range of community members
  • Creativity and a ‘can do’ approach to life 
  • Confidence liaising with stakeholders
  • An interest in events, marketing and the not-for-profit sector
