Key responsibilities  

Strike up conversations with community members, and if required, direct visitors to the various co-located services on site and referring to Corps programs, activities and spiritual support. A friendly smile and warm welcome will help community members relax and connect over a cup of tea or coffee, as the Welcoming Team Member takes a genuine interest in the person and provides information on how we can help.

Qualifications and skills (desired/required)

Interest in meeting new people with sensitivity and showing empathy are essential for this role   Previous experience in customer service or connecting with people in a social setting is beneficial

Development opportunities with this role

This role will give volunteers an opportunity to develop skills and build experience in building rapport with community members, insight to community support and aspects of hospitality.

Time Required & Commitment

Choose from various shifts across the week, Monday to Friday, between 9:30am and 3:30pm each day.
