HammondCare - North Turramurra HammondCare is an independent Christian charity specialising in dementia care, palliative care and rehabilitation, specialist mental health for older people and other health and aged services.

Your impact Volunteering can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the residents you are matched with.

Role description

Enjoy the great outdoors and spend time in the sunshine as you stroll around North Turramurra, as you walk alongside elderly residents from HammondCare aged care home. You'll be helping people to maintain their mobility as well as their healthy wellbeing.

Time required

Ideally you'll be available for one hour each week over 12months or longer. We can be flexible on the week day (Monday to Friday) that suits you.
