About the Program

The Hub Library is looking for volunteers to join our team to shelve and tidy library items and toys as well as other general library tasks.

Key Tasks

• Provide a professional, welcoming and friendly service
• Assist in the maintenance and presentation of the library, and its collections

Skills/Knowledge/Personal Qualities

• Ability to relate to and work with a diverse range of people
• Ability to work as a team member
• Ability to work for an extended length of time in a public area
• Able to follow direction from library staff
• Physically able to fulfil the role

Time Commitment

3 hours per week. Hours between 9.30am – 5.30pm, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday negotiable.

Special Requirements

• Department of Human Services (DHS) “Not Prohibited” Working with Children Check
• Attend Child Safe Environment training (These can be provided for you)
