Illawarra Relay for Life has raised over $4 million to date since it began in 2001. Last year, over $68,000 was raised and we had 462 participants and 52 teams join in!

We are looking for someone who can bring their business acumen and can do attitude to secure sponsorship for the Illawarra Relay for Life. Join us and make a difference!

About Cancer Council NSW

About the role 

This is an exciting volunteer role focused on securing sponsorship with local businesses.

Working with Vanessa, one of our talented Community Fundraising Coordinator’s, and the wider committee, this role has the potential to have a great impact on the success of the campaign.

This role will have the opportunity to also source prizes for a raffle and help with event planning.

About You 

Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation, along with: 

• Creativity and a ‘can do’ approach to life 
• Confidence liaising with stakeholders
• An interest in events, marketing and the not-for-profit sector
