Chapter Coordinator - Key Roles and Responsibilities* The Chapter Coordinator is responsible for driving local fundraising activities, community engagement and providing ongoing support to volunteers. Reporting to: National Outreach Coordinator (NOC) Direct reports: 1.Merchandise Coordinator 2.Events Coordinator 3.DAC Coordinator 4.Social Media Coordinator 5.New Volunteers Coordinator 6.Donation Tins Coordinator 7. All chapter volunteers Responsibilities Management Manage and supervise direct reports\, ensuring projects and tasks are delegated to the appropriate resource. - Represent the organisation professionally when engaging with media, managing volunteers and interacting with members of the public. Engage and support new and existing volunteers within the Chapter. - Communicate and work effectively with all volunteers from various backgrounds of race, religion, gender and personal views. - Manage local volunteer grievances within the parameters of the Human Resource Conflicting Reporting process. Administration Upon request from the Media Coordinator, represent the organisation for local media engagement. Manage the local chapter email account; respond to all queries and questions. If unsure about certain queries, contact the National Outreach Coordinator for clarification and advice. - Undertake training and development opportunities provided from Head Office. Fundraising/events* Ensure stall leaders bank cash from events within two business days and enter sales data into Shopify or Balance shopify. -Provide training to all volunteers through SSAU Head Office

  • Manage the local Ocean Defence Tour with the Events Coordinator.  Policies and process Adhere to all Sea Shepherd Australia Policies and ensure volunteers operate within the Sea Shepherd Australia guidelines Merchandise Provide training to the Merchandise Coordinator in shopify and ensure processes are consistently followed. - Oversee the Merchandise Coordinator in the management of merchandise inventory, preparation of stall kits and entering data into shopify. Promotion of campaigns and events Oversee the Social Media Coordinator in promoting local and global campaigns and events.
