We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us in our Distribution Centre and work as part of a team to assist us with quality checking, categorising and packing a large volume of donated new clothing and accessories. About Red Cross Shops

Red Cross Shops sell new and donated clothes, accessories and homewares to raise funds to help people in need. Each year, we rescue 450 tonnes of clothing from landfill, give opportunities to 5000 volunteers and generate funds to help Red Cross support vulnerable people in Australia and around the world. The proceeds from the sale of items support the vital everyday work of Red Cross, providing relief in times of crisis and care where it's needed most.

Red Cross is an inclusive organisation and welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds and experience levels. So, if you have some spare time and want to give back to your community we’d love to hear from you.

The impact

As a Red Cross Merchandise Volunteer Sorter, your contribution will help us raise funds to bring care and comfort where it’s needed most. Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the world’s largest humanitarian network.

Red Cross strives to create a safe and inclusive culture with wellbeing at its centre. We embrace diversity and welcome Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and people with different lived experiences, abilities, gender, ethnicity, age, and sexual orientation. We are a child safe organisation with zero tolerance of any harm to children. Our vision is to be trusted as the leading humanitarian organisation making a genuine difference in the lives of people and communities.

Thank you for considering volunteering at Red Cross. We also have great career opportunities.
