Under the direction of the Adults Ministry Leader (Program/Focus), assists in the facilitation of group activity in the Ministry.

Respond to individual needs effectively.

Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve best outcomes.

Administration duties as required including answering of emails and phone calls, making referrals when directed by team leader and accurate data entry.

Facilitating transportation for people/goods under direction of the Adults

Ministry Leader (Program/Focus)/Corps Officer as required.

Confidentiality of participant information is maintained. Maintain confidentiality of interactions during group time.

Engage and manage the group dynamics and individuals needs and enjoyment of the program.

Ensure supportive and caring environment for attendees.
Provide a Biblical environment.
- Provide an intentional grace filled Biblical environment.
- Deliver lessons based on the Bible and Biblical principles.
- Create/develop appropriate opportunities for attendees as required.
- Participants to feel welcome and invited to explore their own spiritual journey.
- Encourage and support the individual’s journey.
Provide Quality Customer Service
- Exhibiting professional image of TSA, displaying professionalism and integrity at all times.
- Accurate information provided to customers.
- Refer people to appropriate Salvation Army services. Follow up with Manager if unsure.
- Listen carefully, and acknowledge and refer concerns, issues or queries to Manager.
Financial Management, Maintain Petty Cash and Client Personal Details
- Petty cash tin is appropriately maintained and balances at all times.
- Processing credit card transactions.
- Payment of invoices and reconciliation.
- Client personal details are handled as per privacy guidelines and privacy and confidentiality of client information and personal details are maintained at all times.
Maintain a Safe and Healthy Environment
- Immediately report any health and safety concerns, notifiable incidents and near misses, to Senior Team Leader and ensure any hazards are controlled until rectified.
- Ensure hazard, incident and accident form is completed when required in a timely manner.
- All volunteers are to be mindful of their own health and to take care of the health and safety of others.
- Volunteers are required to comply with all TSA work, health and safety policies and procedures as applicable to their workplace.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements for the Position
- Commitment to the Christian faith and Experience in relevant field highly regarded.
