As part of the federally funded Community Visiting Scheme; a compassionate, caring and friendly Russian speaking volunteer is needed to visit a Russian speaking resident in Wahroonga area.

It is purely about social interaction and connection so as to provide some joy and pleasure to this person's life. A commitment of at least 1 hour a fortnight is needed on an ongoing basis so a rapport and trust can be developed between the volunteer and the resident.

The role is very flexible. Individuals who are willing to give a little bit of their time in conversation, who are reliable, have good Russian speaking skills and have a positive attitude for life are encouraged to apply. Flu vaccination is a requirement from June 2021.
