Volunteer Driver
Department for Child Protection - St MarysVolunteer drivers form part of the local office team and provide support to Social Work staff and families by providing transport for children and young people currently under the Guardianship of the Chief Executive.
The minimum knowledge, level of skills and experience that is necessary to perform competently in the role. • Current SA driver’s licence and a willingness to drive • Child focused • Ability and willingness to work as part of a team • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Passion, interest and commitment to the cause of volunteering • Committed to maintaining confidentiality of records
Requirements: • Working with Children Check • Reference check of at least two referees • Completion of training provided by DCP – specifically Child Safe Environments - Through Their Eyes Training
