Volunteer Admin & Reception Support

The primary focus of an ACH volunteer role is to provide high quality customer centric support to ACH Group customers by undertaking a wide range of tasks that enables and supports the customers to live a Good Life and fulfils the organisational vision of providing Good Lives for Older People.

How would you like to support the Volunteer Manager of ACH at their head office based in Mile End?

Duties would include assisting with:

  • Filing & Volunteer Program record keeping
  • New volunteer registration & compliance tasks ie emailing out all required forms and follow up, recording & phone reference checks
  • Volunteer Reward & Recognition activities/events – National Volunteer Week, Christmas celebrations, special events & birthday
  • Sending out information & program updates to volunteers
  • Volunteer Program promotions & events
  • Volunteer Training preparation

This role would suit a Centrelink recipient with a 15 hours per week requirement who has a background/experience in admin/office based work (or seeking to gain further experience with interest in this type of role rather than service provision).

You would need:

  • Experience & knowledge of Microsoft Office & computer use

  • Experience & knowledge of Admin tasks together with,

  • Good interpersonal skills – friendly & helpful nature

  • Be Reliable

  • Be Happy to work in a team environment

  • Have Good presentation for Head Office location

  • and have an Interest in Aged Care sector!

Volunteering Days would be:

  • Tuesdays to Fridays You could volunteer two days a week (9.30 am to 3.30/4 pm) or over three days (9.30 am to 1 pm) This is negotiable.
