David has a passion for building and fixing things, and he is a Harry Potter fan! David loves getting out into the community, but needs help learning how to access public transport. This volunteering role would involve connecting David into his local community through his interests and goals.

Through the Community Connector volunteer program, you will be provided with the training and resources to assist with this connection. As a Community Connector, you will: • Support a person living with a disability to build sustainable connections in their community; • Research and identify the social activities available; • Connect with the opportunities presented by Uniting’s “The Sharing Tree” program, a neighbourhood points scheme that rewards people for helping each-other out.
