The primary role of the iTrack transcript checker is to read (for child protection and feedback) the transcripts produced by matched student/mentor pairs in the online iTrack student/mentor program. This role is vital to facilitate program delivery and meet the requirements of our child protection framework, ensuring the safety of all participants.

iTrack is an online mentoring program for high school students in Years 9 to 11. Students are matched with a supportive adult (other than a teacher or parent) who volunteers as a mentor and provides the student with general encouragement, advice and guidance about workplace, study and career opportunities. Students and mentors communicate over an 18 week period.

(please note, this is not a mentoring role, it is a role supporting the iTrack program)

The team: Program and Scholarship Administration team is a combination of paid team members and volunteers based in Admin centres in NSW, VIC, QLD and SA and virtually, who support administrative aspects of the Learning for Life Scholarship and suite of programs.

Key responsibilities: Reading through online transcripts for matched iTrack student/mentor pairs Recording feedback and issues into a spreadsheet Managing incoming and outgoing emails from multiple stakeholders Applying TSF’s child protection framework to transcript checking activity

Essential Competencies / Skills: Experience working with confidential and/or sensitive information High level of attention to detail Strong reading and comprehension skills High level of computer proficiency including use of email correspondence and internet applications, with the capability and willingness to learn new packages as appropriate (i.e. Moodle and SharePoint) Organizational, time and workload management skills, including the ability to prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines
