Volunteer Bus Driver
STARTTS - NSW Service for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors
Volunteer drivers will provide a reliable and friendly service to diverse community groups by displaying the following qualities:
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively, compassionately and empathetically with a broad range of people including disadvantaged and culturally diverse groups
- Flexibility to be able to transport groups across the Greater Metropolitan Sydney area, including being competent in navigating the Sydney area
- Be punctual, organised, and an ability to adhere to designated itineraries.
- Volunteer drivers will be responsible for driving 12- and/ or 24–seater vehicles across the Greater Metropolitan Sydney area
- will be required to be hold a valid NSW class C (for 12–seater vehicles) or a class LR (for 24–seater vehicles)
- Volunteer drivers will need to have experience and be competent in driving these classes of vehicles.
