Facilitator - Separated Dads Support Group
Parents Beyond BreakupHelps establish then run a weekly peer support group for 'Dads in Distress'. i.e. dads who have experienced separation / family breakdown and who are often struggling with not having access to their children due to custodial issues. The role, once established, entails traveling to the regional meeting venue (most often at a set evening or weekend time slot), opening up the venue, setting out a circle of chairs, welcoming client dads that attend, operation of a peer support group (simple group therapy), close up after the meeting ends. Each group lasts 2hrs.
