Escorted shopping allows our elderly clients to get out of the house and go and do their shopping with the confidence of knowing they have someone with them to provide support.

Shopping is done fortnightly on a day and time agreed upon by yourself and the client and is a 2 hour service. Monday to Friday are the preferred days, not weekends.

Shopping volunteers pick up the client from their home, take them to the shops of their choice and assist them if required with their shopping and take them back home. Petrol reimbursements apply, set amount per trip.

Areas we provide this service include: Ryde, North Ryde, West Ryde, Gladesville, Hunters Hill, Eastwood and Epping. All clients live within these areas, and shopping is done locally.

• Must be vaccinated against Covid, at least two doses of a vaccine
