Join our team of compassionate volunteers providing social support to seniors from diverse backgrounds. MercyCare is seeking a Companion/Activities volunteer to join our Aged Care services team at our Kelmscott Residential Aged Care Home. the role requires the volunteer to be a good communicator, develop rapport quickly, enjoy conversations and being around older people.

The purpose of the Companion role is to enhance the quality o life for our residents to reduce loneliness and isolation. It is an important role to maintain a residents good mental health to reduce stress and slow cognitive decline.
