About the role Our community centre is looking for creative and energetic volunteers who enjoy spending time with children and families. This role is work closely with the playgroup facilitators to assist with the delivery of a 1½ hour playgroup session. You will be responsible for assisting to set up, take part in and pack away the playgroup environment.

• Arriving at the centre you would assist two staff to set up activities .

• Interact with children during the session, encouraging participation in activities

• Help prepare morning tea

• Assist with pack up /home time.

Parents/carers stay with their children during playgroup and participate in activities and group time. This role is available on Thursday and Friday mornings.
