Sales Assistant/General Helper Event (Randwick) 25th March 2023Ted Noffs Foundation NSW
We will be hosting a large sale for one day only to raise some much needed funds for our critical services for disadvantaged young people. This will be a carpark sale at our Randwick Offices (please note that this event is outdoors). It will primarily be clothing items and we will have constant restock of items throughout the day to ensure all customers can purchase something! We have held an event similar to this in the past and have found we really needed extra helpers as it can get quite busy.
Schedule: 8.30-10.30am - setting up the event 11am-4pm - sale 4pm till 5pm - packing down the event
Responsibilities and duties include: • Putting clothing onto the racks • Keeping things tidy • Operating a cash register and accepting EFTPOS payment • Packaging goods for customers after a sale • Handing out flyers for the event on the day in the local shopping center • Being aware of health, safety and welfare issues, and practices
Essential Requirements: • Enjoy working with people • Friendly and confident manner with a pleasant personality • Good personal presentation • A helpful & courteous manner • Ability to deal accurately with money • Willing to work as part of a team
