Middle Dural Toy Library is seeking a dedicated and organized volunteer to join our team as a Toy Donation Champion! As a Toy Donation Champion, you will play a crucial role in helping us sort, clean, and catalogue donated toys before the toy library opens in June. This role offers flexible hours and can be tailored to your schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Sort and organize donated toys according to age group and category.
• Clean and sanitize donated toys to ensure they meet safety standards.
• Catalogue donated toys on our online system.
• Work collaboratively with other volunteers and staff to ensure efficient and effective toy processing.
• Maintain a clean and organized toy processing area.
• Other tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Valid Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move boxes of toys.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others and follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn about toy safety standards and best practices.
