MS Plus is funded to provide the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

Would you like to visit an older person in an Aged Care Home make a real difference in their life and yours? Do you have one hour per week or fortnight to spare to chat or share an activity to brighten someone's day?

We are seeking a Volunteer Visitor for a delightful man who enjoys playing chess and would be keen to learn new games too. He enjoys country music of the 50s and 60s and has an interest in ancestry. He enjoys learning new things and would enjoy learning how to use technology better. Can you help?

If you are looking for a volunteer role that makes a positive difference to another person, brings mutual joy and is flexible - this is a role for you.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.
