About this role We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Toy Workshop Volunteers at CaringKids. As a Toy Workshop Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in checking, cleaning, and sorting toy donations, as well as creating bespoke Toy Boxes for young carers. Your efforts will help bring joy and support to children in challenging circumstances while ensuring the donations are appropriate and suitable. The Toy Workshop is open on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays in the morning. This volunteer role would need to be available and commit to at least one morning on one of these days. Key Responsibilities  Sorting Donations:  Creating Bespoke Toy Boxes:  Ensuring Toy Box Contents Suitability:  Assisting with Community Donations:  Loading and Storing: Key Requirements:  Passion for supporting children and young carers.  Strong attention to detail to ensure toys meet safety and appropriateness standards.  Excellent organizational skills for sorting and creating Toy Boxes efficiently.  Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with fellow volunteers and staff.  Physical fitness to handle moving and lifting toy boxes.  Availability for at least one morning shift on Mondays, Thursdays, or Saturdays.
