The annual Mega Clothing and Book Sale is one of the fundraising events supporting the services of St Vincent de Paul in Cairns. Many volunteers are required to assist in activities prior to the sale days and on the sale days. The activities are varied and will include sorting donations for sale, ensuring that donations are clean and topping up sales items. Our requirements for volunteers are: • assist 2 weeks prior to the event with sorting & preparing items for sale • on sales day - set up, tidying and topping up tables, handing out Vinnies bags Volunteers will not be required to handle sales transactions or money. Volunteers are required on each of the three days and we will have a roster so that you may find hours that suit your availability.
