Volunteer Coordinator

YFU STUDENT EXCHANGE

As our Volunteer Coordinator, you will help with all aspects of YFU volunteering in Australia and New Zealand. The role will include recruiting new volunteers and managing their induction, ensuring all training and compliance are completed and current. You will be responsible for matching students with potential host families and support people. You will also help create opportunities for our volunteers to network and frequently communicate with them and provide support when needed to ensure that we provide a positive volunteer experience for our people. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be organised and have good attention to detail. You will love connecting and building relationships with people and be interested in other cultures and people from around the world. You may have been an exchange student in the past or hosted one, but this is not a requirement. You will be part of a small but dedicated team based in the Hills District, Sydney – this is a work-from-home role, and you can be located anywhere. The volunteer role has the potential to become a paid part-time role.
