Manjimup SES are currently seeking volunteers with good communication and organisational skills to join our dynamic and supportive team in this essential behind-the-frontline role.
SES volunteers play a significant and vital role in helping to ensure the safety of the local community. Duty Officers play a crucial role in ensuring timely and appropriate responses to Requests for Assistance received by the unit. Key tasks include:
- First point of contact for Requests for Assistance
- Liaise with various stakeholders, including DFES, local government and members of the public
- Determine and activate teams according to the nature of an incident
- Monitor progress and provide support as required
